Nested upon a nature trial with a creek running by is this "classroom in the woods" structure for bird watching and educational purposes. A barn like structure with a high ceiling with operable clerestory windows brings in natural light and ventilation. Active and passive solar strategies were implemented to make this an award winning project in the "2009, AIA Seattle, What Makes it Green? Top 10 Regional Project"
