Suquamish Museum (with Mithun)

The Suquamish Museum celebrates the legacy of Chief Sealth (Seattle) and the heritage of the Suquamish people. This building evokes the heritage of the traditional "Old Man House" with heavy timber post and beam construction and "log-in-the-wood" siting to blend in with the natural environment. This building received an AIA Washington Civic Design Awards, Citation in 2013.

While working at Mithun as a Senior Project Designer, I was responsible for the overall architectural and structural design concept and most of the architectural detailing.
